About the event
Synopsis: An eclectic group of pre-teens vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter, only one speller leaves a champion! At least the losers get a juice box.
"Spelling Bee" will serve as a drop off location for goods for Rescue Ridge, a local animal shelter! Please consider donating supplies such as new (unopened) dog and cat food, blankets, pet toys, etc. We will also have a monetary donation jar at the show.
